It’s Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend!
Tens of thousands of people from around the world are in the Capital, to take part in a variety of races, from the 2k all the way up to the Ottawa Marathon. There are races both Saturday and Sunday and spectators are encouraged to watch and cheer from the sidelines.
There are also other festivities to enjoy, including live music and other festival previews.
It’s also that time of year in the Glebe! The Great Glebe Garage Sale is on this Saturday, May 27. What kind of treasures will you find?

Speaking of treasure, the Canadian Museum of Nature hosts the Real Escape Game The Legend of Zelda: Defenders of the Triforce. You and five other players work together to solve puzzles in a 60 minute event. It is unlike an escape room in that there are many teams all sharing one big event space all working to escape from the story’s situation, not a physical room.
Games are being played throughout the day Saturday and Sunday, as well as Monday and Tuesday evening.
