UPDATE Ottawa Police will not charge 24yearold man for actions on Parliament Hill

Ottawa Police say they are not charging the man arrested by the Parliament Protective Service for his actions on the Hill this week.

However, 24-year-old Jesse Mooney is still being charged with regards to an incident on a walking path in the south end Sunday morning.

Ottawa Police say a 32-year-old man was attacked after an argument on Bridle Path.

Mooney faces charges of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and breach of probation.

He was scheduled to appear in court today.
