Ottawa Police have laid charges after a fight in Overbrook on Friday morning left one man suffering from stab wounds.
A 20-year-old man was stabbed on Lola Street at Presland Road around 6:10 a.m.
Paramedics said the victim was rushed to hospital in serious but stable condition.
Police arrested one person in connection with the incident.
30-year-old Joshua Rector is facing charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous, and possession of a schedule I substance.
He will appear in court Saturday.
