Winter may be just around the corner, but it's going to be much warmer than the average Nov. 8 Tuesday.
Kelly Hobelman with Environment Canada says the forecasted high is 17 degrees.
"The normal for this time of year is about a high of six degrees, so that's 11 degrees above normal," she said. "Even (Monday) in Ottawa, the airport reached 13.7 so it's been a couple of really unseasonably warm days that we've had in Ottawa."
That won't break any records, however. Hobelman says the warmest ever Nov. 8 in Ottawa was in 1938 when we had a high of 21.1 degrees.
The warm weather isn't expected to last much longer with more seasonable temperatures forecasted for later this week, and even a chance of flurries on Friday.
