Police have laid charges in Monday's fatal crash that left two people dead.
Sishun Liang, 19,is facing two counts of criminal negligence causing death, careless driving and stunt driving.
On Monday around 11:30p.m., two cars travelling in opposite directions smashed in to each other on Merivale Road at Viewmount.
54 year-old Brian Aspelund and his 49-year old wife Dora were taken to hospital in critical condition but later died from their injuries.
Liang, who was the driver in the other car, made his first court appearance on Thursday.
