Three men and a woman, all in their 20s, are facing a slew of drug trafficking, weapons and conspiracy charges following a major drug bust.
After an investigation that began in November 2016, Ottawa Police say they executed warrants across the city Tuesday, arresting the four suspects.
Police say they seized items including a pill press capable of making 20,000 pills an hour and enough drugs to make 600,000 counterfeit pills.
Most of the pills seized are believed to be Ecstasy, though an unknown powder was also found.
Brian Nguyen, 28, is facing 9 drug trafficking charges, 12 weapons charges, as well as charges of conspiracy and possession of the proceeds of crime. He’s being held in custody, pending a show cause hearing.
Calvin Tan, 24, is facing 3 drug trafficking charges, one count of weapons dangerous, as well as charges of conspiracy and possession of the proceeds of crime.
Nabil Zazay, 24, is facing one conspiracy charge.
Allison Hayes, 27, is facing 6 drug trafficking charges, and four weapons charges.
Tan, Zazay, and Hayes have been released on a promise to appear in court.
Two other men connected to this case are still at large. They are 27 and 32 years old, but police did not name them.
