Ottawa Police arrest wanted male find a loaded gun

Ottawa Police have arrested a wanted man who was found to have a loaded gun. 

Officers encountered the individual on the 2800 block of Cedarwood Dr. and were able to take him into custody without incident. 

Upon searching the man, officers seized a loaded .45 cal handgun. 

27-year-old Ahmed Hassan has been charged with the following:

• Possess Firearm 91(1)
• Carry Concealed Weapon  90(1)
• Possess Weapons Dangerous 88(1)
• Careless Storage Of A Firearm 86(1)
• Unlicenced Person Possess Prob/Restricted Weapon 91(2) x2
• Possess Restricted/Prohibited Firearm Knowingly Not Holding A Licence and Registration Certificate. 92(1)
• Possess Loaded Firearm 95(1)
• Possess Firearm While Prohibited C 117.01(1)
