Ottawa Fire quickly controls commercial building blaze on Jeanne dArc

Ottawa Fire Services quickly controlled a fire in a commercial building on Jeanne d'Arc Boulevard late Monday night.

Crews responded to a 911 call reporting visible smoke from the single storey commercial building at 8154 Jeanne Darc Blvd.

A working fire was declared at 10:51 p.m. but crews had the blaze under control by 11:03 p.m., with a loss stopped declared at 11:07 p.m.

There were no reported injuries, the structure was unoccupied at the time of the fire. 

An Ottawa Fire Investigator has been brought in to determine the cause of the blaze.
