A fiery crash on the 417 last week, which killed a man, is still under investigation, and Ontario Provincial Police are putting out the call for witnesses.
Police say around 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, three tractor trailers crashed in the westbound lanes of Highway 417 in East Hawkesbury Township.
Two of the tractor trailers were engulfed in flames. 36-year-old Alexandre Roberge, of Otterburn Park, Quebec was killed.
The OPP is now asking for anyone who may have been driving through the area between midnight and the time of the crash that morning to contact them. Specifically they want to speak to anyone who would have seen tractor trailers parked on the side of the road of Highway 417 westbound at exit/off-ramp #5.
