Nine people have been displaced after Ottawa Fire crews were called to a residence fire in Orléans late Sunday night.

They say a two-alarm fire broke out at a multi-unit residence at 46 Lakepointe Dr. off Tenth Line Rd.

The main body of the fire was extinguished just before midnight. 

No injuries were reported.

Salvage operations were undertaken in the early hours of Monday morning, and a fire investigator has been sent to the scene to determine the cause of the blaze.

The fire did an estimated $400,000 in damage.
