The head of Ottawa Public Health is stepping away from his role.
In a Facebook post Dr. Isra Levy says after a decade as Medical Officer of Health, he's leaving the City to join Canadian Blood Services where he’ll be taking over as Vice President, Medical Affairs and Innovation.
In a written statement, an Ottawa Public Health spokesperson says Dr. Levy helped build an “organization that has made a difference in the lives of so many Ottawa residents.”
