A 46yearold man has suffered lifethreatening injuries after Ottawa Paramedics say he inhaled hot gas from a fire at a home in Overbrook.
A 46-year-old man has suffered life-threatening injuries after Ottawa Paramedics say he inhaled hot gas from a fire at a home in Overbrook.
Emergency crews were called to a basement apartment on Bernard Street at about 1:30 this afternoon.
The man also suffered second-degree burns to his arm and face and first-degree burns to his chest and back.
He was taken to hospital in critical condition.
The damage estimate from the fire is $20,000.
