Gatineau Police say they caught a driver going 110 km/h in school zone in Aylmer Wednesday afternoon.
It happened on Wilfrid-Lavigne Boulevard, where the speed limit is normally 30 km/h.
The 18-year-old male driver is facing stiff penalties as a result.
Police say the driver is facing $1,521 dollars in fines and 14 demerit points. His license has also been suspended for 7 days and his car has been seized for 30 days.
