Two people are facing charges after police in Gatineau dismantled a drug lab.
Police say officers went into a apartment on rue Saint-Antoine yesterday afternoon and discovered fentanyl powder and equipment used to mass produce the drug.
Provincial police were called in to help with their investigation as residents were evacuated from the apartment building.
Police say that 20 grams of fentanyl, a taser, cash and two cell phones were seized.
A 31-year-old man and 23-year-old woman are now facing drug trafficking charges, possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon charges.
