There are major changes coming to Ontario's school system.
The government's education minister says class size will increase for high school students; the cap is growing from 22 to 28.
Kindergarten to Grade 3 won't be enlarging, but Lisa Thompson says Grades 4-8 will have one more student in classes, on average.
The change is part of the government's education reforms announced today, which also include details of a new math curriculum and a ban on cellphones in classrooms.
As for the highly anticipated sexual education curriculum, Doug Ford's PCs are ensuring children learn about gender identities, sexual orientation and sexually transmitted diseases later in their school career than was previously dictated by the Wynne government.
Parents will also have the option to pull their children from sex-ed classes if they don't agree with what's being taught.
The changes come into effect in September.
