The Capital Pride festival is wrapping up Sunday with the annual Capital Pride Parade.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Premier Kathleen Wynne, and General Jonathan Vance will be marching in this year's parade.
The event means several road closures in Centretown this afternoon. This year's parade takes Gladstone, Kent, Laurier, and Bank and culiminates at Bank and Somerset where a community fair is taking place. Bank Street is closed from there to Gladstone for the fair.
Elsewhere, Canada's Table is taking place on Wellington Sunday evening. The Ottawa 2017 event sees Wellington Street closed from Elgin to O'Connor to accomodate the 1,000 diners enjoying a meal cooked by chefs across the country. Canada's Table takes place from around 5:45 p.m. to 10 p.m.
