Ottawa Police say a 17-year-old boy has died following a collision at a construction site in Barrhaven.
Ottawa Police were called to the site on Freshwater Way at around 8:40 p.m. Monday.
Police say the collision involved a machine at the construction site. The 17-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charges are pending, police say.
Alcohol is considered a factor.
Police continue to investigate and have been interviewing witnesses.

Another male, 19, was arrested. Alcohol was involved and charges are pending. A new road called Cape Jack Walk Crt, north of Freshwater Way in Barrhaven, is closed. @OPScollisions is investigating.
