Prince Charles and his wife Camilla have officially opened Toronto’s Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
The couple arrived at the fair, billed as the world’s largest indoor agricultural show, in a horse-drawn carriage.
The fair president’s grandson presented Prince Charles with maple syrup; her granddaughter gave Camilla a western saddle.
The couple toured the fair, taking in the sheep, cattle, organic vegetables and giant show pumpkins.
They will depart for Victoria Friday night, catching a glimpse of B.C., Montreal and Ottawa before heading back home.
