Britain’s PM Issues Warning for Afghanistan

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown is urging the government of Afghanistan to take action against corruption.
He says the government must clean up their act or risk a cutoff of support. Brown says he will not risk the lives of any more British soldier unless President Hamid Karzai steps up efforts to reduce corruption.
It’s the first challenge for the Afghan leader, who was declared the leader after a election riddled with charges of fraud and ballot-rigging.
Brown’s warning comes as NATO allies in Brussels advice American officials on policies to take in the conflict-ravaged country.
European leaders are waiting for Obama to decide if he will increase troop levels, or reset the goals for the mission.
