Canadian Sales up for Hyundai, Ford

Sales are revving up at Hyundai and Ford in Canada.

The two automakers posted double-digit increases in October compared to the same month last year.

Ford Canada says 18,201 vehicles were sold last month, up 20 per cent from one year ago.

Hyundai Canada sold 8,415 vehicles, an impressive 43 per cent increase compared to October 2008.

It also marked Hyundai’s 10th straight month of double-digit sales increases, and its ninth month of record breaking sales.
